About Randy Joe Galloway |
||
I began my career playing the piano at the age of four. My parents, Tillman and Sylvia Galloway were both gospel singers, I began picking out melodies that I'd heard, playing by ear. Having good to notable pitch, I taught myself by radio, television, and the general music media. My first guitar, a $15 Kay acoustic, was given to me on my 15th birthday by my mom, Sylvia. At the age of 22 I performed my first concert at Rosman High's Stadium playing rhythm and lead guitar, and singing lead and harmony vocals. The band was so well received that the students rushed the fence, causing it to give way - ironically "Southside Rush" was born and my reputation began to build. Caught in the whirlwind, I became the featured guitarist and voaclist of many bands - '78-'80 Lodestone and Josiah; '82-'85 Foot Loose (the road show); '87-'90 The Galloway Brothers with Sammy, my youngest brother, on bass guitar; '91-'93 house band for TJ Greens in Greenville, SC; '93-'95 as featured guitarist/vocalist in Stryder Lee and the Kid Colt Band touring the largest east coast nightclubs with major recording artists; '97-'99 performing with Buster Fuzz in Western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina venues. I have opened many shows for major recording artists such as Lynard Skynard, the Marshall Tucker Band, The Doobie Brothers, Foreigner, 38 Special, Confederate Railroad, Faith Hill, Micheal Twitty, Lee Greenwood, John Anderson and many more. The years 2000-'06 found myself (a.k.a. White Eagle) bounty hunting. FOX Carolina news reported myself as the most successful bounty hunter in the state of South Carolina, having captured 862 fugitives, most single handedly. Presently recording under Perry Music Group/Indie Star Records. Thanks for your love and support! God Bless the USA! |
